DIY Flu Shot

herbs and oil

A lot of my friends have been getting sick lately which means they are getting suggestions for the flu shot.  While I know the flu shot can be good for some people, an alternative “flu shot” can also work if you’re not interested in the injection.  Here’s a quick and easy rollerball recipe for you!

Ingredients
  1. 15 drops of Thieves Oil (or similar blend)
  2. 10 drops of Oregano Oil
  3. 10 drops of Lemon Oil
  4. 10 drops of Tea Tree Oil
  5. 2 teaspoons of Fractionated Coconut Oil
Instructions
  1. Add your four oils one by one into your empty roller ball jar. Fill the rest of the jar up with your fractionated coconut oil. Shake and roll on to the bottoms of your feet daily. You can apply it more often (every 2-3 hours) if you are starting to feel sick or have come into contact with anyone who is sick. I like to shake my blends every time I use them just to make sure everything is combined. You can use regular (not fractionated) coconut oil, but it may solidify. You'll want to rub it vigorously in your hands before applying to mix everything back up.
Notes
  1. Please note that oregano oil is not advised for use on children or pregnant/nursing women. Consult with your midwife before use.
