Do you love essential oils??  I sure do!  I use them pretty much every day for so many different aspects of my life.  Anita from Paleoified sent me a set of amazing oil blends to use on myself and my children.  The first one we are blogging about is the Baby Sleepy Time.

It could not have come at a better time because I have really been struggling with getting my youngest, Charlie, to sleep lately.  He is 19 months old and has been getting lots of teeth at one time.  This has made him cranky and very restless.  He likes to toss and turn and whine like a little crazy person.  One thing that makes him chill out though is Baby Sleepy Time!  Not only is it a combination essential oils that promote relaxation and sleep, but it comes in a cute little roller ball bottle that Charlie LOVES to apply on himself.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the adorable picture of him putting it on his feet.  He was so quiet and concentrated on rolling the oil on his cute little fat feet!  He loves to put it on himself every night before bedtime.  It really helps him wind down and chill out which is a big change from the screaming, crying and flinging himself about that he had previously been doing.

The oil blend is like MAGIC!  He can be acting like a little maniac and as soon as he applies his oil, he calms down!  Anita uses excellent oils in her blends as well as certified organic carrier oils.  Keep an eye out for more reviews of some great Paleoified products coming soon!!

If you’d like to enter to win a roller ball of Baby Sleepy Time, follow the steps on the widget below!  View our complete giveaway rules.  Winner will be selected and posted on our Facebook page next Friday, January 16th!

  1. I’m lucky and all 3 of my daughters are on a great sleep schedule. My youngest does have some trouble getting to sleep every once in a while though so this would be great for those restless nights!

  2. Sometimes it is difficult getting my grandson to go to sleep. I usually read to him at bedtime.

  3. I don’t have a baby currently, but my sister in law does, and they have a hell of a time putting her to sleep. She doesn’t like to be put down or she wakes up. You have to hold her through her whole nap or she doesn’t get one.

  4. Im gonna be honest… I never really had a lot of trouble getting my kids to sleep but my sister is. I dont know the exact details but I do know that she is exhausted. Maybe this would help!

  5. The wind down starts with giving a bath. Them having a snack. Read a story, Then tickle their back till they fall asleep. Nothing less than one and one half hours.

  6. Usually it only takes my daughter about 10 minutes, we’re very blessed with a good sleeper! Sometimes when she’s sick though I think an oil blend like this would be so helpful in getting her to relax and rest!

  7. It kind of depends on the night. There are some nights when it only takes an hour but on other nights it can be up to 2-3 hours.

  8. I’m not a mom, but I would like to win this for a friend who has a little one. I’m sure it will come in handy on those sleepless nights when baby doesn’t want to go to sleep and just wants to play and experience the world all night.
