Why should I take a probiotic?  These good bacteria need to be a part of your diet to help with any digestive issues you may be having.  You can find probiotics naturally in some foods such as yogurt, soft cheeses and kimchi.  If you don’t consume the foods that naturally contain these awesome bacteria, you might want to take a probiotic supplement.

I got a month supply of the Microbiome Plus+ Gastrointestinal to try and I am really liking it.  Microbiome Plus+ GI contains a natural prebiotic and a probiotic that work together to promote a healthy gut.  The prebiotic supports the growth of healthy bacteria while the probiotic supports normal inflammatory response.  I had been taking a supplement previously that was helping my gut survive my addiction to all things dairy even though I am lactose intolerant.  I was curious to see if this probiotic worked in a similar way and it did!  As long as I have got some good bacteria keeping my gut in check, I can easily consume things that my insides would usually be pretty upset about.

If you’re not taking care of your gut where your immune lives, you will be prone to physical and mental issues such as bloating, irritability, fatigue and allergies.  A bonus feature of these probiotics is that they could also help you lose weight!  A healthy gut can help speed up your metabolism and boost your energy so you can get back to looking and feeling great.  I actually haven’t been tracking my weight while taking the Microbiome Probiotics, but that may be something I decide to do in the future so you can see how well a probiotic can really change your lifestyle.  If lactose intolerance is keeping you from enjoying foods you love like sour cream and cheese, get on a probiotic and discover the difference!
