We don’t often think about all of the ways that chemicals can get into our body.  When I saw the opportunity to review the Ava Shower Water Filter, it really got me thinking…  I put myself and my children into baths and showers multiple times a week and let water soak into our skin.  This may not seem like much of a big deal until you think about what is IN that water…

  • Chlorine
  • Algae
  • Dirt
  • Flouride
  • Lead
  • Bacteria
  • Arsenic
  • Mercury
  • and SO many more!!

These are all of the things that could potentially be in YOUR water.  The Ava Shower Water Filter removes 99.9% of these out, so you are left with clean, fresh water.  You no longer have to worry about your children sitting in a tub full of toxic chemicals.  It’s bad enough that we have to worry about all of the chemicals in the soaps and shampoos out there, but who would have thought we also have to be so careful of the WATER that we put on our skin.  SCARY!!

The Ava Filter is super easy to install.  You just screw off your shower head and place the filter between the shower arm and head.  The filter lasts 9-12 months, so you don’t have to worry about it for pretty much a whole year if you don’t bathe/shower every day.  Our family usually does every 2-3 days to keep natural moisture in our skin and well, we have to maintain our dirty hippy status!
