Since I did the Whole30, I have been not eating pasta, so I was pretty happy to try out the Spiral Ninja to make myself some veggie pasta.  My kids call it an “Im-pasta”, which is pretty funny, but a couple of them actually ate it!!

The Spiral Ninja is SO easy to use.  It’s basically like a giant pencil sharpener.  I used a couple zucchini to make my “pasta”.  You just slice off the end and twist it into the Spiral Ninja like a pencil.  The tool slices the veggie into pasta-like strips.

The only thing that I didn’t like about the tool was the end cap that comes with it.  It’s supposed to help you avoid waste by getting the vegetable further down into the cutting area.  It’s much easier to just use your fingers carefully or even a fork.

The Spiral Ninja comes with a little cleaning brush so you can get all of the gunk out of it after use.  It’s super simple to clean as well as use.  You don’t have to put a lot of force into twisting the veggie into perfect pasta proportions.

  1. Oops, my previous comment would not be counted….I would use it on summer squash. I’ve been wanting to see how it would taste as pasta.

  2. I would use it to make zucchini pasta. I sometimes eat spaghetti squash but I think it’s a hassle to make.

  3. I would be the one to use this :)
I would love to try some zucchini pasta :)
    Thanks for the chance!

  4. I want to try this for slicing potatoes for baked fries. I think the kids might try veggie pasta, too.

  5. I would love to try this on squash, zucchini, and potatoes. Maybe even on some carrots and cucumbers for a fancy salad :)

  6. I would use this to make spaghetti out of squash and carrots, and… well, I imagine it could also be used for beans, too, if done carefully? I SO want to try to make black bean spaghetti like we had at the expo! YUM!

  7. Thank You for the giveaway… we would like to try our ginger carrot recipe with the Spiral Ninja Vegetable Spiralizer.
