cavity zapper

My oldest son has always been picky about the kind of toothpaste he uses.  Since my boys’ father doesn’t have the best teeth and my 4 year old already has a lot of dental issues, I thought it would be good to get them using a toothpaste with a safe amount of flouride.

We got to sample the Cavity Zapper toothpaste by The Natural Dentist.  It comes in two flavors, Berry Blast and Groovy Grape.  Both flavors have flouride and are free of SLS, artificial colors, flavors and sweeteners.  They aren’t overly sweet like some toothpastes and the flavors make my kids WANT to brush their teeth.  I personally love the Berry Blast!!

The Natural Dentist also flouride-free products if you prefer to avoid added flouride.  Their mouth rinses contain no alcohol so they are completely safe for children.  If you would like, check out their coupon page for more deals!

  1. I can’t remember what kind of toothpaste my grandkids use, but its a sweet one and I’m positive that it contains aspertame. I withdrew myself from aspertame earlier in the year and I found that I actually went into withdrawal.

  2. We were using Crest for Kids but the kids didnt care for the taste of it. So they are just using Colgate like me.

  3. I bought so off brand my Son was begging me for because it had Lightning McQueen. It was Berry flavoured and he didnt like it. So Ive just been letting him use Crest.

  4. We use Aim toothpaste and it is not that nice to taste. It is a gel and never feels like it is working properly.

  5. My kids like the fruit flavour of the one we have now (Oral B), but they think the characters on the tube are babyish. I think they would feel cooler brushing with Cavity Zapper. It sounds superhero-ish. :)

  6. Crest for Kids, it’s available in a wide variety of stores. Tom’s has been used by the whole family for years. We are always open to a better product.

  7. i use the crest for kids for my kids and then the crest for adults. neither of htem have good taste to it we find

  8. They use Crest for Kids right now. It seems to work but I think that it has too much of a candy taste to it.

  9. the kids use Crest as the family always used it. I do not like that there is so much floride in it.

  10. My grandchildren are using a strawberry flavoured toothpaste for children. I can not remember the brand. What I do not like about it is I tasted it and it is disgustingly sweet. Seriously toothpaste is not supposed to be sweet.

  11. I currently use Crest kids cavity protection. But my little one isn’t quite three yet, and she doesn’t always do the whole spitting out the tooth paste part, so i’m just not fond of the amount of fluoride in it.
