reachergrabber

Life without a grabber was rough…  I actually first decided to get a grabber when I did some dumpster diving.  I had trouble reaching things and didn’t want to get IN the dumpster.  Yes, I am one of those weirdos, but let me tell you, I have made a good amount of money selling things I have found in the trash!

The grabber I had hurt my hand as it was pretty tough to squeeze.  I got to review the Reacher Grabber Tool from Calibre Products and I really like it.  It’s a lot easier to squeeze than my older reacher.  It has a bigger grasp as well so I can pick up larger items.  The one thing it is lacking is a magnet and I was surprised that I actually appreciate this if I am dumpster diving because the magnet on my older one would always stick to the side of the dumpster.  It was pretty strong, so it was sometimes tough to pull off of it.

Now I know this has SO many more uses than dumpster diving and I do use it at home as well.  It’s great for reaching things high up, far back behind things or deep underneath a bed.  It’s great for people with back problems as well as those that are pregnant!  My kids even like to use it to pick up toys.  It amazingly makes the task more fun!!  We just love our grabber!!
