My youngest son just got his top two teeth last week on the same day.  He is a pretty miserable teether so I have to make sure I have plenty of things on hand to ease his pain.  I alternate between a few things that help a lot.  One of our favorite teething products is the Hyland’s Teething Tablets.  Hyland’s sent me a bottle to review and we really love them!

The tablets contain ingredients such as chamomilla and belladonna which are shown to reduce irritability, redness and discomfort.  Charlie (my 11 month old) loves the tablets and happily gobbles them as I place them on his tongue.  They dissolve very quickly so you don’t have to worry about your little one choking on a pill.  You can also dissolve them in a spoonful of water or in a medicine syringe to make it easier for your little one to take.

They work as well as our lavender oil, but it has been recommended that you not use aromatherapy with homeopathy.  The oils can antidote the remedies unless the oil and remedy are from the same plant, such as Chamomile tablets used with a Chamomile oil.  If you have a crabby, teething baby, you should definitely try these tablets.  They do more than just numb the pain like regular baby teething gels do which I think is pretty awesome!

i recently went to a homeopathy workshop and the practitioner said not to dilute in water, and actually not to drink or eat for 15 min before and after taking a remedy, as it dilutes its effectiveness.
