Who here has hippie feet?  You know what I’m talking about…  Dry, cracked heels because you wear flip flops or sandals (or even go barefoot) 365 days a year!  This is me.  I cannot stand my feet being enclosed in socks and shoes.  I do have a few pairs of shoes and boots but I RARELY wear them.

So now I have dry, hard and cracking hippie feet.  That is one of the last things you want when you get a foot rub or are snuggling up in bed with your special someone.  I decided I wanted to have my cake and eat it too.  I want soft feet WHILE wearing my flip flops every day.  I would be happy with feet that aren’t super dry and cracking heels because that just looks GROSS.  I got to try the Heel and Elbow Moisturizing Stick by Crunchy Granola Mama.  This mama has obviously had the hippie foot.

Her Heel and Elbow Moisturizing stick comes in a deodorant style tube so it’s nice and big to get the width of your foot in one swipe.  You don’t have to spend twenty minutes applying a tiny little lip balm tube of salve or a messy cream/lotion all over your tootsies.  It is made with skin quenching butters and oils and is scented by some yummy smelling essential oils.

Years of exposing my feet to the elements and not keeping them moisturized really made them unattractive.  My heels have gone from cracked and nasty looking to just a little dry and pretty enough that I’d want someone rubbing them!!  Haha!  I know it sounds silly to be ashamed of my funky feet, but it’s nice to get a little foot pampering every now and then.  If you can’t relax because you’re worried about the status of your dinosaur feet, what’s the point?  It’s so easy to get them looking lovely again and more importantly, FEELING amazing.  It totally grossed me out when my cracked heels would stick to socks or the kitchen/bathroom rugs.  Well, no more of that!!

Crunchy Granola Mama has tons of products for all of your hippie needs from bathroom fragrances to the perfect baby shower gift!  There’s something for everyone!

  1. Flip Flops are a necessity for this southern gal!! From the minute its even slightly warm enough until its far too cold, flip flops is what you will find me wearing!

  2. I wear slippers in the house, so every day when I go get the mail or do the trash and recycle, I wear flip flops or sandals. Also, in the summer, I wear them every day to play in the backyard with my son.

  3. I don’t wear flip flops at all…can’t stand anything between my toes. I only wear sandals when I go to the beach
