Now I haven’t had many really good nights of sleep since I became a mother over 8 years ago and having a young nursling certainly doesn’t help.  I am a very light sleep since we co-sleep so I don’t ever get into a very deep sleep.  I’ve considered taking supplements to help me sleep like Melatonin, but I am not much of a pill taker.

Nicole at Urban Organics has totally saved my sanity.  When I don’t sleep well, it means that I either turn off my alarm which makes me oversleep or I am groggy and grumpy.  Now I am already a huge believer in essential oils because I have seen them work on myself and my children.  I was very excited when I came across her Sleep Serum.

Her Quiet Sleep Serum is a blend of oils from plants known to assist in relaxing your body and quieting your mind.  This adult insomniac blend is not for use on children.  It is co-sleeping safe as long as you do not apply it to your breast area in case of nurslings, rub it in to the skin very well and wait 3-4 minutes before snuggling with your little ones.  Nicole does make a version for kids as well, though, so you won’t have to be the only one sleeping beautifully!

Not only does the serum come in a really pretty glass roller ball making it easy to use, but it works so well.  Every time I remember to use it (I have the worst memory ever and wrangling 5 kids to bed every night doesn’t help!), I sleep so well and wake up so refreshed.  It smells great as well, which is a great bonus and no need for swallowing pills!

If you’d like to enter to win a roller ball of Sleep Serum from Urban Organics, follow the steps on the widget below!  View our complete giveaway rules.  Winner will be selected and posted on our facebook page next Wednesday, March 12th!
