Wildflower! Art & Music Festival 2015

Michael and I were thrilled to check out the Wildflower! Art & Music Festival this year.  An annual tradition in Richardson, Texas, the festival brings art, music, food and fun for the whole family.  When I was in high school, I used to volunteer for the festival.  It was one of my most favorite things to do!  I would usually work in the children’s area and then go watch the headlining bands in the evening.  It was great fun, but the last time I went was over ten years ago.

The festival brings you not only local musicians, singers and songwriters, but also awesome national bands/artists such as Kansas and Wynonna.  We were lucky enough to see them and many more musicians over the weekend.

We also got to check out a ton of awesome vendors selling things such as yummy smelling bath products and unique art.  Not only was there tons of goods to browse and purchase in the MarketPlace, there was food galore from small stands to HUGE food trucks in the Food Garden!

There was a super fun Kidz Korner with a petting zoo!  My kids would have LOVED that!

Overall, the Wildflower! Festival was a huge hit and I am already looking forward to it again when it comes back around next year!  Thanks for letting us be apart of your festival this year!!
