My second son just turned 7 this past December.  He has been getting taller which is quite miraculous considering his dad is 5’2″.  He has been complaining a lot about his legs hurting at night and it instantly took me back to the growing pains I had as a child.  I knew how painful and uncomfortable it was.  It was hard to get to sleep with such awful legs cramps.

When I was younger, I would use a heating pad but now there is a great alternative made by WishGarden called Growing Pains for Kids.  I don’t have to worry about my son getting burned by the heating pad or it setting the house on fire by some freak accident.  Hey, it could happen!

The Growing Pains formula contains a plant-based calcium that supports healthy growth.  It also contains relaxing herbs such as Chamomile and Scullcap to help your child feel calm.  My son said it tasted horrible but you can mix it into water or juice so they can get it down easier.  It definitely works as my son settles quickly after having a dose.  He always asks for it when he starts getting a cramp and quickly chugs down his magic potion, despite his claims that it tastes “yucky”.
