I’ve always admired the gentle parenting style and personally chosen this journey with my own daughter. For me, gentle parenting, or simply parenting in its truest form, has always been the way.

My aspiration for her is to master the art of regulating her emotions, to confidently set boundaries as a child and carry these skills into adulthood, and to cultivate a deep-seated trust in our relationship. I’m delighted to share that this approach is working wonders for us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In my parenting journey, I’ve encountered friends who adhere to more traditional, old-school, harsh methods of discipline and punishment. Observing these contrasting styles has only reinforced my commitment to gentle parenting. I not only find myself at odds with the old-school punitive approach, but I’ve also consciously distanced myself from those who practice it.
