This simple, step-by-step challenge will help your child tackle their messy room without feeling overwhelmed. Each day has a small, manageable task that builds up to a completely tidy and organized space by the end of the week.
Declutter Challenge Days 1-4
Days 1-4 focus on cleaning up toys, making the bed, sorting out clothes, and tidying their nightstand.
Day 1: Sort & Declutter Toys
- Pick up any toys on the floor.
- Sort through them and decide which ones to keep.
- Set aside toys you no longer play with to donate or discard.
Day 2: Make the Bed & Clean Under It
- Make your bed neatly.
- Clean up anything hiding under the bed.
- Throw away any trash and put away things you want to keep.
- Tidy up your nightstand.
Day 3: Laundry & Vacuum
